Kinja'd!!!

Finally posting some of my pictures from Sunday's race. This is my first time taking my camera to the track. Found out quickly that I need a much longer lens to shoot the cars on the track, so I ended up taking a lot of candids.

How many MM do you have? I was shooting with my 200mm and got some pretty awesome photos from a few places. Not quite professional quality. But I blame that on the locations non press can shoot LOL

18-55mm kit lens. My Nikon-expat friend said he has something longer I can borrow though so I'm excited about that. Rainey curve was the best place to get close to the cars without a press pass, lol

Also, I have a Pentax 60-300 mm lens! So I want to bring my pentax next time too. I additionally have been looking at lens adapters, but my photo friend for some reason discouraged them

If you can manually focus (well some have AF) then they should work just fine. I do use a NEX (also known as an adapter lovers dream due to it having a short flange distance and adapters working for everything) though so YMMV.
